Announcement
Hey, I'm Lauren. I’m a contemporary embroidery artist in the Pacific Northwest. I live in a bright and cozy home with my husband, two young sons, dog, and houseplants. Amidst the joys and demands of motherhood, I carve out time for embroidery daily to satisfy an insatiable creativity and a love of all things handmade. My inspiration comes both from nature and the colors, textures, and patterns of interior design. I love creating a wide variety of work, but among my favorite themes are floral and botanical designs, landscapes, and abstract designs.
Patterns are designed for all skill levels, although some patterns are more challenging than others. Free video tutorials for every stitch I use in my patterns can be found on my website, https://larkrisingembroidery.com/

Owning a piece of embroidery hoop art is like having a painting and a sculpture all in one. It can bring the gorgeous colors and bold designs of a painting and brings an additional level of warmth and depth through the texture of the fibers. Embroidery can add the perfect touch to a space where handmade products, time, and beauty are valued.

5 out of 5 starsI consider myself an “ambitious beginner” and this was a great pattern for me to get practice with satin stitch! I’m not done, but know the end result will be beautiful. Instructions are very detailed and it’s obvious a lot of work went into producing the PDF! It is not a difficult pattern and may seem daunting at first, but taking time to do each segment is key.
